Does it hurt?
No, unlike paintballing, Quasar laser-tag is a non-contact sport in which the only thing you will feel is the vibration of your pack to let you know when you’ve been shot.

How long does each quasar game last?
We run a game every 30 minutes.

Are the lasers dangerous?
No. The lasers used across all Quasar Arenas are completely safe.

Do I have to re-load my gun whilst playing the game?
This depends on which games are being played. During some games you will have to reload your gun.

Will I run out of live and/or shots?
It depends on the type of game you are playing. In some games you will have unlimited lives and unlimited tags.

Can we run?
We do not allow running in the arena for health and safety reasons.

Are the games marshalled?
The games are monitored by a member of staff. Parents can also marshal in the Arena if they wish.

What is the minimum age for children wanting to play Quasar laser tag?
Players must be age six or over to play Quasar.

I’m a parent/guardian of a child playing laser-tag; can I play laser-tag with them?
Yes, you are welcome to purchase a game if available and play alongside your child.

Do I as a parent/guardian have to be present in the arena to supervise my group/child?
Normally parents who do not go into the arena are happy to watch the players on the TV screens in the café area. You can, if you wish, supervise in the Arena during the game.

Do we have to book in advance?
You can if you wish however; we cannot guarantee you a game as soon as you arrive. We recommend you contact us and book in advance to avoid delays or disappointment.

When do games start?
We have a game running every half an hour, on the hour and on the half hour.

What if we are late and are stuck in traffic? Can you wait for us before starting the game?
If you are a few minutes late, we may be able to allow you to join a game that has already started but unfortunately, we cannot wait for people arriving late as this would limit the time the other players have in the arena.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
If you are booking for 10 players or more, or are booking outside of normal hours, we will require a 25% deposit to secure your booking.

What happens if I have booked for 18 people and only 15 turn up?
If one or two people don’t turn up that is not a problem. Any more than that there will be a surcharge per person of half the cost of the missing players . Ideally let us know how many people are attending a couple of days beforehand.

What happens if I have booked for 18 people and 20 turn up?
Unfortunately, if the Arena is full there is nothing that we can do. If there is space for the extra people it is normally not a problem. Ideally let us know how many people are attending a couple of days beforehand.

How can I pay?
You can pay by either cash or credit/debit card. A 30p charge for all card payments will be applied.

What’s the minimum number of players required for a party package?
There is no minimum number but the party room holds 30 people. If you wish we can cater for smaller parties and provide catering and refreshments in our café area.

How long do private parties last?

It depends on the type of party package you choose. For the silver package the party can last up to 2 hours and for the gold package up to 2.5 hours.

What’s the minimum age for players?
6yrs and upwards but we do recommend from age 7yrs and upwards.
Please note, the equipment used is ‘one size fits all’ so we recommend that parents/adults check that the pack fits very small children as some find them a little too big and this may cause irritation and marking on their thighs. We make every effort to avoid this from happening.

Can I have exclusive use of the arena for my party?
If you require exclusive use of the arena, we can provide this at an extra cost. All our party packages include exclusive use of our themed party room but not the arena.

Can I have more than 30 guests at my party?
Yes. However, we can only have 30 players in the arena at one time. If there are more than 30 guests we can split your group into teams who would play alternate games.

Can we bring our own food?
You can bring cold food into the premises to compliment the party food served, however; our party packages include Pizza or a Hot Dog for each guest as well as other party snacks. You are also welcome to purchase extra treats from our in-house café. If your guests have any allergies or dietary requirements please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate them as best we can.

Can we bring balloons, party poppers, streamers etc to decorate the party room?
Yes of course! The party room will already be decorated in preparation for your arrival but if you would like to add to it, you are welcome to do so. We only ask that you remove all additional decorations before you leave.
